Combustion Music re-signs Jameson Rodgers to multi-year publishing deal

Combustion Music has re-signed Columbia Nashville / River House artist Jameson Rodgers to an exclusive multi-year publishing agreement. Rodgers began his songwriter career with Combustion Music in 2014 and recently celebrated his first #1 as an artist with his debut Gold Certified single, “Some Girls”. Rodgers's current single, "Cold Beer Calling My Name" featuring Luke Combs recently cracked the Top 50 and continues to climb.

“We couldn’t be happier to be extending our relationship with Jameson.  He is an artist of immense talent and character, and to watch his growth over the past 6 years has been incredibly satisfying”, says Combustion President Chris Farren.

Jameson Rodgers said, “I’m very excited to continue working with everyone at Combustion. They are like family to me and I couldn’t imagine working with anyone else. Looking forward to 3 more years of beating Chris Farren on the golf course.”

Born and raised in Batesville, Mississippi, Rodgers released his first EP in 2016, featuring the streaming hit “Midnight Daydream”. In 2018 Jameson released his self-titled EP featuring his #1 Gold Certified single, “Some Girls”, which has amassed over 120 million streams. Rodgers spent most of 2019 opening for Luke Combs on his Beer Never Broke My Heart Tour; hitting over 60 cities internationally. Rodgers has had success as a songwriter with cuts by mega-artists Florida Georgia Line, Jason Aldean and Luke Bryan. He scored his first #1 as a writer in 2019 with Chris Lane’s “I Don’t Know About You”. In 2020, Rodgers was awarded the Music Row Awards Robert K. Oermann Discovery Artist of the Year award.
